About

An aspiring Bed and Breakfast owner, I am a former Los Angelino who now lives and works in Washington State.  During my time in California, I fell in love with San Luis Obispo County.  I dream of returning soon, maybe to live there full time and run a bed and breakfast.  For now, blogging and random visits will have to satisfy the craving of delicious food, incredible wine, fun events, and beautiful scenery…all that SLO has to offer.

I love to travel, read, cook, hike, and swim.  I love my life and the path I’m taking.

I am full of travel tips, ideas, and suggestions that will hopefully make that ever-important budget work in your favor while still having a relaxing time in lovely San Luis Obispo County and future adventures around the world.

I too am passionate about travel, have lived abroad, and settled on SLO’s Central Coast. I’ve worked in the travel industry and currently work with the hospitality industry creating gifts/amenity packages that help to showcase the best of what our area offers – Wine, romance, spa/pampering/girl’s getaway, hiking & outdoor adventure, etc.

I’d love to hear more about your plans for a B&B.
    Warmly,
    Elise

  4. Hi there! We are holding the THIRD ANNUAL Wine 4 Paws April 9-10, 2011. Over 50 wineries throughout the Central Coast will be donating a portion of the weekend’s proceeds to Woods Humane Society!
Can I get this added to your calendar? It’s a great event and a great way to enjoy the wineries while supporting our four-legged friends.

  5. You were so kind to post the info on Wine 4 Paws last year – and it’s time once again! Last year’s event raised almost $25,000! Would you be able to post it again for 2012? Thanks so much.
