Possibilities: San Simeon Lodge

Nestled in the small, charming town of San Simeon, the lodge is a perfect getaway.  Many rooms come with an ocean-view, there are pool-tables in the mail hall for guests to enjoy, and there is live music on the weekends.  What could be better?  How about a heated outdoor pool and wireless Internet access (I suppose you could access the Internet from within the pool, but I won’t be doing that with my laptop).

Close to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal Rookery, there are plenty of fun things to explore in this charming town.  Beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants, and the over-all feeling of San Simeon gives visitors a sense of peace and overall well-being.

San Simeon Lodge welcomes our guests to relax on the beach or unwind by the pool. Join us every weekend in the lounge with live music and a glass of our house wine or retreat back to your spacious room. We also have some pet friendly rooms available upon request.”

Off-season rates are completely reasonable, ranging from $55-$70 a night.  If you want to go during the summer and early fall, rates increase to $75-$145 depending on if you go during the week or on a weekend.  Either way, you can’t lose at the San Simeon Lodge.  With rooms that will meet any budget, this tranquil get-a-way is just what any budget conscious traveler needs.
